Height Adjustable Desks

Conset are a Danish manufacturer of electric height adjustable desks and tables. They are imported into the UK and sold through a network of office furniture dealers, including CH Workspace. They have a huge ranges of styles, sizes and finishes, as well as a range of different lifting capacities. The electric motors and control systems are hidden away in the leg frames, where there is more than one motor the sophisticated control system ensures that the table top moves up and down smoothly and in a synchronised manner. Conset was started by three engineers, who have designed and continue to supervise the manufacture of every Conset desk. The aim of Conset and the essence of their business is to offer high quality electric sit-stand desks at very reasonable prices. Some of the work is carried out in-house, but where assembly and construction is outsourced, Conset maintain a very rigorous quality assurance program.

All tops for Conset desks come in a choice of melamine finishes (Beech, Maple or Oak) or wood veneer finishes (Beech, Maple, Oak or Cherry).

The desk frames come in a range of load-bearing capacity, 70kg, 80kg, 100kg, 150kg and 200kg. Please bear in mind that this capacity includes the weight of the desktop, generally about 20-25kg.

The 501-7 range is a lower capacity variant of this desk, with a lifting capacity of 70kg, and prices starting from about £400.

Next in line is the 501-17 range. This is a double-leg height adjustable desk with a lifting capacity of 80kg. The frames are available in widths of 960mm or 1560mm, and tops are available in various shapes up to 2000mm x 1000mm.

The most popular desk in the range is the 501-11 double-leg desk. This has a Bosch motor for low noise and exceptional reliability and a lifting capacity of 150kg. A built-in cable tidy can be used, or a full size optional cable tray can be attached to the desk. Most of the Conset desk ranges have the ability to use an optional battery pack, which means that the desk can be used in case of power failure, and also that the mobile units can be used away from a mains electricity source.
