ACT Office Furniture are UK manufacturers of high quality real wood veneer executive desks, tables and reception units. They have revitalised their Nimbus and Stratus ranges and have introduced the Cirrus reception range.

Executive Desk

All of their furniture is hand crafted and finished using the highest quality wood veneers such as Cherry, Walnut, Oak and Maple. Inlays and edge details can be included in the design, to create a unique piece of furniture built to you own specifications. Although designed for today’s modern office, the Nimbus and Stratus ranges still evoke feelings of tradition, quality and distinction.

As a UK company, established since 1989, ACT have continued to grow and develop their product ranges in order to ensure that they offer the best, high quality  furniture to their clients. Every part of the manufacturing process is carried out in-house, including the selection, matching and laying of veneers. This ensures that all suites of furniture have matching veneer finishes. All furniture is hand finished and polished by skilled, experienced staff, several of whom are cabinet makers, using a blend of traditional methods and modern ideas to provide furniture for today’s discerning customer.

There are two standard ranges of furniture comprising desks, storage and boardroom tables as well as reception units. Nimbus has 40mm bullnose hardwood edges, and Stratus has a 30mm radius hardwood edge. The new Cirrus range of reception counters is a modern slant on a contemporary theme.

Nimbus Executive Desk

The Nimbus desk and storage/display cabinet show in the picture is in Pippy Oak, one of the exotic wood veneers in the range. The products in the image consist of a standard executive desk, a left hand return and a low level credenza with a bookcase top. The detail image shows a wooden cable outlet, which is an optional fitting.

This image show a Nimbus Wenge Walnut configuration which is suitable for a high quality home office. This home furniture consists of a Corner Unit, a Return with Pedestal, a Bookcase and a Quadrant base and top unit.

Home Office Desk

The boardroom table shown in this image is a Nimbus Steamed Beech table with a Walnut edge and inlay, together with a standard arrow base. This table will comfortably seat 12 people.

For a more contemporary look, this Nimbus boardroom table is in Natural Walnut with a Maple edge, and has standards legs on a copper plinth. The detail picture shows a pop-up cable module, which can be used to power a laptop computer and provide network and telephone connections.

They come in standard designs and modular configurations which can be hand built and installed in about 4-6 weeks, or fully customised reception furniture can be built and delivered in about 8-10 weeks.
