ACT are established designers and manufacturers of executive wood veneer office furniture. Each item is hand-built by experienced craftsmen in their UK workshops to the highest standard. Although designed for today’s modern workplaces, the range still evokes feelings of tradition and distinction. The hand-picked real wood veneers are available in twelve standard wood finishes (Maple, Cherry, Light Oak, Steamed Beech, Natural Walnut, American Walnut, Walnut Rose, Wenge Walnut, Pippy Oak, Stormy Oak, Birdseye Maple and Kevisinga). Inlays and edgings in contrasting veneers are also available. When a suite of furniture is ordered the natural veneers are carefully matched top ensure continuity throughout the suite.

The new products launched recently include an extension to the existing Nimbus and Stratus ranges specifically designed for home office use and the contemporary Cirrus reception furniture range.

The Nimbus home office range consists of modular bookcases, desks, pedestals and corner units so that the discerning home office worker can design their perfect home office.

The Cirrus reception furniture is a contemporary design available in all the standard finishes and with an optional glass counter top.

As a UK company, established since 1989, ACT have continued to grow and develop their product ranges in order to ensure that they offer the best, high quality executive  furniture to their clients.

Every part of the manufacturing process is carried out in-house, including the selection, matching and laying of veneers. This ensures that all suites of furniture have matching veneer finishes.

All furniture is hand finished and polished by skilled, experienced staff, several of whom are cabinet makers, using a blend of traditional methods and modern ideas to provide furniture for today’s discerning customer.
