The materials used are the same as those used to construct the desk units, allowing continuity to remain throughout the collection. Some selections of storage units are set on castors to enable easy movement around the office, whilst others are designed to attach to the main desk units. Mobile pedestals, low cabinets and credenza's each offer a different type of storage to choose from, ensuring that you are never stuck for choice.

Lighting the home office As more and more of us are working from home the need to create practical office spaces within the home increases. It is easy to neglect some of the issues that would be taken for granted in a commercial space but it is still important to ensure the same levels of comfort are achieved. Lighting is often an issue within the home as domestic lighting is not generally suited to long term computer use. If a room is dedicated solely to use as an office then it is worth upgrading the lighting to a type designed for computer users. Spot lights which are fitted in many new build houses are not ideal as they create light and dark areas with shadows. Ideally a type of lighting that offers a uniform level of light across the room, without creating glare should be specified. Alternatively task lighting may be a good compromise where there is no alternative.
