Storage Units

Storage units in the K.WEST range come in various shapes and sizes to offer you the best possible selection of storage. The materials used are the same as those used to construct the desk units, allowing continuity to remain throughout the collection. Some selections of storage units are set on castors to enable easy movement around the office, whilst others are designed to attach to the main desk units. Mobile pedestals, low cabinets and credenza's each offer a different type of storage to choose from, ensuring that you are never stuck for choice.

Suspension files Suspension files are the type used in traditional filing cabinets but they can also be used in a systems storage cupboard where a pull out suspension frame is fitted. The file is accessed from the top and the label holder is on the top of the file which will be visible only when the filing frame or drawer is pulled out. One disadvantage of this type of system over a lateral filing system is that you need to pull the drawer or frame out of the cupboard which means we need to allocate more floor space to the cupboard. Furthermore the maximum number of frames we can fit into the cupboard is 4 and therefore the capacity of filing will be far less than a lateral filing system. Lastly is the issue of cost, with pull out filing frames typically retailing for around £100 each they significantly add to the cost of a storage unit.
