Cable management for the home office One of the main criteria for any office but particularly one within your own home is to ensure that the installation of any electrical equipment is as neat and tidy as possible. This can be lead by the positioning of the desk and if the desk is facing a wall with the power and data also in the wall the cable management requirement should be quite low. An ideal desk arrangement might be a main desk or workstation facing a wall and an extension unit added to create an L shape. This works particularly well in a corner and allows equipment such as printers and fax machines to be placed on the return unit with the main computer on the desk. Running cables between equipment should now be very easy and if the power is in the wall adjacent to the desk a simple vertical cable solution is all that is required.
