Operator chair armrests
When you next purchase an operator chair, take some time to think about whether you need armrests and if, so what type you require.
A set of armrests is designed to support your arms whilst working at your desk, which mainly involves using a keyboard. If you sit at a curved desk, your arms are probably already supported by the desk top which effectively wraps around you, and a set of armrests may just get in the way. Height adjustable armrests are a good idea as they can be lowered out of the way, but if you don’t need them, then maybe you shouldn’t have them. Fixed armrests are fine, except that they can get in the way, and would not be suitable for all users. Ideally you should consult your office furniture dealer who would be able to advise you.
