Office furniture wholesalers.
As in other industries, the wholesaler commits to purchase large volumes of furniture from a number of manufacturers on regular basis, and then stocks these products in a large warehouse, ready for distribution. The wholesaler will then typically have a fleet of lorries delivering the furniture, ordered by their network of office furniture dealers, within a few days. The dealer will then arrange delivery and installation with their customer. The advantage of using a wholesaler is that products are readily and quickly available, although there is a cost associated with this stock facility.
