Our X'Pert range of tambour cupboards has a rigid one-piece metallic shell with welded interior walls for maximum stability. M1 non-inflammable PVC doors fitted with flexible polyurethane hinges. Shelves pre-formatted to lateral filing. Available in a wide range of colours and finishes to match our office furniture.

Glass desks
Many customers are enquiring about glass desks, as they have seen them on television or in other people’s offices and boardrooms. They are very stylish and beautiful, but only if they are well made, which usually means expensive. There is a lot of glass home office furniture imported into the UK from China which is not of a very high quality.
The biggest practical problem with glass desks and office furniture is that they are very hard to clean, incredibly heavy, and impossible to manage the cables. They are fine for use in a boardroom for example but as an everyday computer workstation they have too many disadvantages over a more traditional wood or MFC top.
