The frame is made from lower quality steel and the welds are terrible. There are no floor levellers and when you build the desk, there is weld spatter in the screw threads. There are also a few fixings missing. So you go back to the shop and start again. By the time you have wasted another few hours and more fuel the desk has become much more expensive. But the manufacturer has no sympathy for you as he probably only receive £18 for this desk, so what can you expect for £18 or raw materials, factory and labour costs. Buying on price alone is probably the most foolish thing that any person can do.
