Operator chair armrests When you next purchase an operator chair, take some time to think about whether you need armrests and if, so what type you require. A set of armrests is designed to support your arms whilst working at your desk, which mainly involves using a keyboard. If you sit at a curved desk, your arms are probably already supported by the desk top which effectively wraps around you, and a set of armrests may just get in the way. Height adjustable armrests are a good idea as they can be lowered out of the way, but if you don’t need them, then maybe you shouldn’t have them.
