Manufacturers lead times Nowadays most common office furniture ranges are usually available on a lead time of about 3 weeks, including delivery and installation at the customer’s premises. This is really for MFC finishes as furniture made from real wood veneer usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to manufacture and deliver. There are some dealers who have access to large stocks of products and can deliver and install with a matter of days. Because of the cost of holding stock their ranges and finishes are usually more limited than a manufacturer who is making the product to order, but nevertheless there is still a wide choice of products available for immediate delivery and installation. The same would apply to office chairs which are stocked in the more common range of colours and fabrics. If you want to choose a specific fabric, then you will need to wait 3 to 4 weeks to have the chairs upholstered in your fabric choice.
