Mobile Storage
Mobile storage systems are often overlooked but can be a highly effective means to achieve high density storage within an office. Mobile storage systems can achieve around 50% increased storage capacity within a given floor space or can reduce the amount of floor space required for your existing storage. This is achieved by placing cabinets or shelving systems onto a sub floor which houses a geared system of tracks allowing the cabinets to move from left to right. In a traditional static storage layout a corridor is required between each row, or bay of shelving but by using a mobile storage system this can be reduced to just one bay. By removing the additional corridor areas floor space is saved and more space is available for additional bays.
