Desk Design
In the last 20 years of so, there have been some radical changes to basic desk shapes, mainly due to the widespread use of computers in business. From the basic rectangular desk with fixed drawer each side, came the radial desk and desk height pedestal, which allowed enough room for a large CRT monitor to be placed on either side of the desk. As the monitor became smaller in depth and with the advent of LCD screens a wave desk was designed to give the user the same amount of useable space whilst reducing the footprint of the overall workstation, allowing more desks to be fitted into the same office space.
