Cable management It is easy to spend money buying new office furniture and still be left with an untidy office because cables are trailing over the edge of the desks or along the floor. The solution is to look for a cable management system in the desks that provides sufficient capacity for your equipment but also works with the building. Most metal frame desks will allow cables to run vertically in the legs and cable outlets can be cut into the desk tops to allow access to the legs. Some desks will have a horizontal beam running between the legs or cable trays that can be fitted inside or outside the modesty panel. The best solution depends on the application and the equipment that needs to be used.
