Office chair care
Nowadays most office chairs are upholstered in a man made fabric, which offer superior resistance to abrasion and fade than most natural fabrics. They are also slightly cheaper which can make a big difference to the overall budget. The fabrics are rated according to their resistance to abrasions colour fastness, and as everything else, the more you pay the better quality you will get. An average chair will easily last 7 to 10 years of normal office use, provided the chairs are not used 24 hours a day, or are in a particularly harsh environment. With regard to protecting the fabric, the only requirement might be a some sort of spray stain guard, and this can be done in the factory if required.
