Matching office furniture finishes It is very difficult to match ranges of office furniture from different manufacturers. This is because each manufacturer has their own board supplier who will produce their own version of the MFC finish. They may call the finish beech, but it will most probably not be the same beech finish as anyone else in the market. The situation is even worse with real wood veneers as even if the wood finish was the same at the point of manufacture, by the time the piece of office furniture has aged, it will have completely changed colour. In many cases it is better to opt for a finish that is obviously different to your existing one rather than try to get close and be disappointed.
