STEEL FRAMED CONSTRUCTION
This design uses an all steel frame which is bolted together to form a very strong rigid structure. All threads inserts are cut or welded into the frame to provide a virtually unbreakable fixing. The wood desk top is not part of the structural strength of the desk. Although more expensive than the wood panel construction, the steel frame offers much more in terms of durability and longevity.

WOOD PANEL
The modesty panel is an integral and important part of the frame in this design. The wood top is an important part of the structural strength of the desk. Although well built and perfectly designed for its purpose, care is required when moving these desks, as incorrect handling can result in the metal thread inserts being pulled out of the wood panel. |
